Emma's Yoga Hut is 6 Months Old!

Hello there!

Hope this blog post finds you well? Would you like some virtual birthday cake? Because, I am agog to say, Emma’s Yoga Hut is now 6 months old!!

I am sending a huge thank you to every single person who has supported Emma’s Yoga Hut, from the beautiful people who found the hut, and come along week in week out to our courses and workshops. To the friends who have cheered me on and supported me from near and far, and of course to my family, who have helped me through every wobble, panic and joy that goes with starting your own business. None of this would have happened with you all! A million thank yous!

In that 6 months we have gone from tentatively starting with three yoga courses to see if anyone was interested, to now running six different courses and a monthly Super Soothing Sunday Session. Oh, and so many trees have been planted too; each time we fill a course or Sunday Session I arrange for a tree to be planted. So far that means 12 trees have been planted at the National Trust and 6 fruit trees have been planted in the garden of Emma’s Yoga Hut! Keep an eye out for those as we approach blossom season. I am about to arrange for a further 7 trees (keeping my fingers crossed it might be 8!) to be planted once bookings close for this term too. So not only are you doing your body, mind and soul good with your yoga practice, you are also helping the planet!

This 6 month mark has come around so quickly it has got me thinking about what to do when Emma’s Yoga Hut hits its 1 year old mark – we will be celebrating it in September 2022 with a week of free yoga taster events so you can try something new - or just indulge in the yoga you like best! They will be made available for people to book onto online nearer the time.

So, thank you to the wonderful people of Earley, Lower Earley, Woodley and Reading for finding Emma’s Yoga Hut and choosing to practice here! It is hugely appreciated, YOU are hugely appreciated!

With love (and cake!)

Emma xx

(Emma runs Emma’s Yoga Hut in Earley. A tiny garden studio for small group yoga tuition. She is a yoga student and yoga teacher and has practiced yoga for 25 years. She trained with the Traditional Yoga Association right here in Reading between 2016 and 2018 to achieve her 500 hour yoga teaching accreditation. She has additional teaching qualifications in Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra which she subsequently undertook online during the great lockdown of 2020. Emma tries her best to practice yoga every day in between running classes offering yoga the lovely people of Earley, Lower Earley and its surrounds)
