About Emma's Yoga Hut!
Hi, I am Emma and I run Emma's Yoga Hut here in Earley, a bijou garden studio for small group yoga classes and sound baths, established in 2021. I am both a yoga student and yoga teacher and have practiced for 30 years. I trained to be a yoga instructor with the Traditional Yoga Association right here in Reading between 2016 and 2018 to achieve my 500 hour teaching accreditation. Subsequently I went on to acquire additional teaching qualifications in Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra with Yoga Leela.
Yoga offers great strengthening and flexibility for the body, easing tension through movement. But it offers just as much to the mind and soul, and that is what makes it so special. This is what I am so excited to be able to offer to those who come along to Emma's Yoga Hut, the opportunity to spend an hour or so which will not only help strengthen and stretch the body but that will also help to calm and soothe the mind, offering the space for some quiet introspection and clarity in a world that is constantly clamouring for our attention. It is in alignment with this aim that I also offer beautiful meditative sound baths. As a fully accredited Sound Bath facilitator who trained with Heron Moon Sound Healing School, I specialise in Singing Bowls, and love the way that sound can offer access to wonderful, deeply meditative states and profound insight.

Out of the hut there are monthly online deep rest guided meditations that you can join for the evening in the comfort of your own home, and then have access to for the rest of the month to listen as often as you would like.
I also teach popular chair yoga classes which are designed to offer accessible, very gentle yoga from a seated position, ideal if you are recovering from illness or injury, have restricted mobility, find it tricky to get up and down from the floor, or just want something very relaxed.
